Nice one. I like the clouds. The Sun looks as if it is attached to the tree. There seems to be someone standing in the right. Why not use a narrow aperture like f9 or so to get some more depth of field? You could have easily reduced the shutter speed by one stop for a narrow aperture. Where is this beach? Overall I like it. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Dear All,

Thanks for your valuable comments. It's a beach some 200 kms from Mumbai in Konakn Region of Maharashtra. Yes, a higher aperture would have been better. I was actually in sea, in midst of waves & trying not to fall down. All this time , my wife kept on holding me. Have some more shots with waves , beach & sun in one shot. Shall try to share.

Not sure whether the lady was more keen in preventing her mad husband from being swept away or whether she is more interested in seeing a good shot. Either way she again proved that behind every successful man is a woman. :)

Beautiful scene. The clouds and the rays filtering through it look amazing. Your risk of photographing it from a boat has paid off :). Thanks for sharing.

Lovely scene and colours. Looks like ISO 800 wasn't required, it seems to have brought in some noise. Overall this is a nice shot. Nice to see you exploring the beaches there... Lived in Mumbai for 22 years, always interested in the sea but never went to Diveagar. :(

Dear All,

Another shot of same beach with Sunrise, Beach & Waves. Knee deep in sea, my wife holding on to me while taking this shot.

EXIF : 550D with 10-18mm lens, FL : 10 mm, F/9, Tv : 1/2000, ISO 800.

A lower ISO would have been better , however couldn't change the settings.

Hope you like & enjoy it.
