Blue-fronted Redstart male is one of very attractive birds of Himalayas. It is widely found the in and around Neora Valley National Park, Darjeeling Himalayas.
Place - Rishop, Darjeeling, West Bengal
Date - Feb, 2016
Canon 600D, 250 mm, f/6.3, 1/800s, ISO 200

Such a cute bird with striking yellow-blue colours. Nice perch and good eye contact. Some loss of details, maybe due to crop. Getting these small birds larger in the frame can be difficult. You can try using a hide to get closer. Thanks for sharing.

If clicked in a trek, it would not be possible to use a hide. The bird is colourful. With tiny subjects one needs to be careful about exposure else the colours like the yellow here gets overexposed. Thanks for sharing.
