Jacobin Cuckoo juvenile is one of monsoon visitors in the Bengal Plain.
Place- Eden DVC Canal Barddhaman, West Bengal
Date - June, 2015

Date of first sighting of species like this in a season is important as it can act as an indicator. Hope the trees in the canal remain intact so that these birds can be sighted year after year. Thanks for sharing.

In this monsoon of 2016 we have found more than 15 Jacobin Cukcoos in our region.
