Dear all,

I spotted two Amur Falcons , not sure whether they were pair and could photograph only one. This interesting spotting happened on a canter safari on 7th May 2016 near the Navegaon village near the gate of same name within the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. The reporting to this forum is a bit late ( apologise for that) and I reported the sighting in various other online forums . I also apologise for the poor quality shot as I could approach the bird for a closer view and it was cloudy on that morning. Upon return from the safari I found that two more sightings of Amur Falcon reported from nearby Umred Karhandla Tiger Reserve on 3rd-5th May.

Shot with Canon 70D with Tamron 70-300 VC Di , handheld. [ 1/400, F5.6, ISO -200 ].

Very interesting.

What is that scratch mark at the bottom? Thanks for sharing.

Ah, that was one tree branch annoyingly coming up after crop. I should have mentioned that was removed using Lightroom. But now it shows the removal was not done properly.
