A nice attempt. You can post images which are upto 800 pixels on the larger side. The shadows can be opened up more.

Lovely bird. Liked the head turn and the perch. Nice composition. A bigger image would have looked better.

Depth of field is good. Nice image. I like the composition. A bigger image will look good. You can post images with 800 pixels at the longest side.

What was the shutter speed and aperture?

this is nice image. love the way you composed the shot.
the crop seems littlebit square, little more space on left and right could work.
