The small pratincole is a resident breeder in India, Western Pakistan and southeast Asia. It breeds from December to March on gravel or sand banks in rivers.
Clicked on January, 2016 in the River of Damodar, near Barddhaman, West Bengal
Canon 600D, 250 mm, 1/1600s, f/6.3, ISO 400.
