Canon SX60 HS, 1/125, f/5.6, 121 mm, ISO-250. Cropped and Basic PP in GIMP.

Clicked in a forest in RR dist. about 80 Kms from Hyderabad on 30-Jan-16.
My first wolf sighting in an unreserved area, from where there have been no reported sightings. I was shell shocked.

Fantastic. Great to know that these fellows are still managing to survive in these difficult times. If time permits please pay a visit to this area in different seasons. Hope you can get some more sightings. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Dear Sabya, Mrudul, Sakti da, Sandipan;
Thanks for viewing and sharing your views.

Sabya sir; I make at least one trip to this place each month. Once I sighted a group of deer grazing , may be Chousinghas, as Barking deer are ruled out there. No luck with Wolf again.

Sakti da; I have got the wolf’s photo from back with its black tipped tail :), two peahens also in the frame, but it’s lacking the facial expression & eye contact of this image.
