A family of Macaques on top of a tree

Spotted this unique sight while traversing thru a particular patch of Amboli ghat. Interestingly the whole, and extended, family seemed to be resting on top of the tree and enjoying the distance from the persistence traffic.

Nice image of a troop of Bonnet Monkey sitting on a tall tree. It is not a typical forest animal, its male may be twice the size of the largest female. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Nice to see them huddled close. Two of them keep a watch out, while the other two are busy in preening and a baby can be sighted in the back. Is the AF point on the leaves? Not sure, please check. Thanks for sharing.

Intelligent creatures. They have learnt to live close to human habitations. With lack of food bearing trees, they have learnt to raid homes. In Delhi, I find they have become more aggressive than in other places.

There are two branches devoid of leaves crossing infront of the macaques. Without it, the image would have been better. Thanks for sharing.
