The noisy one

During the night trail at Amboli and while on a look out for the loud and noisy frogs we kept on hearing some sharp calls echoing along the dark bushes. Most of the time the source of the sound would seem to be generated from different directions confusing us and puzzling us on the location of it. Finally while just randomly running around the torch light we spotted some motion and it turned out to be this beauty and it would create the sound by rubbing the raised body parts, probably wings. Unfortunately couldnt capture the rubbing activity, nor could I avoid the leaves and twigs that was around this beauty

Looks like a cricket. Experts please help with the id. Agree the branch kind of divides the image in two, it would have been good if you could move a bit more to the left. Thanks for sharing.

Couldn't make a video due to pitch dark, the torch light didnt seem enough and also handheld video with non IS lens seems very difficult for me
