(Machlolophus aplonotus). This beautiful bird was photographed in Wayanad. Wish I had a longer lens, so I couldn't have to crop.

One can imagine how less would be the weight of this bird. Looks like it is perched on a hibiscus flower. Long lens often becomes a necessity in bird photography. Thanks for sharing.

Well captured with catchlight in the eye. I saw this bird for the first time in eastern ghat this April :).

Lovely pose and eye contact. Since it is a crop you can keep slight more space on the right and less on the left. The crest looks nice. Thanks for sharing.
