ID: Spot swordtail

A surprise sight for me, especially being the monsoon season, a Spot swordtail had perched onto a leaf while it had just started drizzling after a short break. The butterfly seemed to be drenched in the rain drops and hence, probably, was a bit lethargic to move and wasnt bothered by my presence around it.

Nice frame. It is very difficult to frame the subject parallel to the camera sensor. A monopod often helps in arresting one degree of motion and one can then carefully frame the subject. Wish the butterfly was a little bit sharper. Thanks for sharing.
