I first saw these beetles on some websites. They were really very different from all the beetles I had seen. And we first met last year in evening I think, it was brownish. And since then I have seen it only 4 or 5 times.
But yesterday when I went for walk with my sister I watched 2 different colored beetles. It was really an awesome experience. These beetles are really very beautiful!

I saw this one on 20th June.

I would like to know the specific names of all these three beetles.

Hi Shivani,
Welcome to the forum! This is a very nice first post. These are all tortoise shell beetles, as you have said, belonging to the family Cassidinae. I am not very familiar with the specific names, but since you have the basic ID correct, a quick search on the internet (comparing results with your photographs and region) will easily get you information about all 3 species. Using a method like that to narrow down to the species level also makes it a useful learning experience, rather than relying on identification sources that make it too easy. :)

Please note that if you would like your images critiqued, then the rule is to post one image per thread and provide complete details about the equipment and settings (if applicable).

Keep posting!

Thanks. :-)
Yes you are right, I will check on the internet.

Okay, next time I will surely remember that.
