Nice scene. The AF has locked on to the tree just behind the head. Also, when the bird is far and forms a small portion of the frame, the AF points occupy large areas and it then locks on to the area with greater contrast. These are fast moving birds and they can move up the tree pretty fast. Thanks for sharing.
