ID: Cicada
While on a trail to Panorama point we came across several cicada molts and very close to it there was a live cicada perched on a light pole. But as we reached close to it the cicada flew off and left us parched for a good shot of it. Luckily few metres from the spot we encountered another beauty perched on a tree bark, giving us a chance to get better frames(in natural perch) and to top it the beauty was cooperative enough to stay long enough for all of us to get some frames.
EXIF:
Canon 550D
Canon 100mm macro
F/13
Shutterspeed 1/160
ISO 400
Handheld, External flash fired
Location: Matheran
