The beauty amongst the greenery

ID: Habenaria rariflora

Spotted several of these beauties along the trail on the Western ghats and this particular one seemed to be isolated from the other group bloomers. In an attempt to capture its habitat I tried a wide angle shot(kind of) of the whole area around it, with the humble kit lens. Result...not a spectacular image, but was satisfying enough for me.

Looks like a nice delicate flower :). Its stands out well against the green background. I feel a bit more close up, to remove the hint of white background at the top corners would have been good. Thanks for sharing.
