ID: Green Vine snake(juv)

While we encountered this beauty and spent whole lot of time framing it, one of the instance it kept on moving like a swirling, sweeping ghat road. The lighting wasnt very ideal as it was inside the dense bushes but still managed to get a hint of the greenery around it.

Lovely eye contact. Good details. Just thinking a bit more space on the right to include the bend in its body would have been great. You have got some wider compositions with the that? Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Mrudul regarding more space on the right, as the body appears to be cut off. Were you using Autofocus? If you are using centre point AF to acquire focus, then you can use the focus lock and recompose technique to get the subject in an off centre placement. Thanks for sharing.

With snakes, it usually works to have less space in the direction it is facing. Doing so includes more of the body, which can often be of interest. The extra space in front of the snake (when shooting macro) is usually completely out of focus, so it is wasted space. If you're not shooting macro, this extra space can depict the habitat.
