ID: Painted grasshopper
Spotted this interesting sight of two stages of painted grasshoppers perched onto a branch of a plant along the Nagla trail. Had been on a lookout for this last year along the trail but never encountered the painted variety. These beauties seemed to be comfortable high on the perch and was not much bothered by the crowd of photographers who were pleased and exited with the sighting
