Spotted this one while traversing a stream on the Karvi trail of BNHS' CEC. Though it was a tad too active and difficult to get a proper frame, finally got this hind view of the beauty. The central strip of the beauty almost matched the colour of the rock on which it was seated.

Lovely details. The narrow aperture has helped. The stripe is very prominent. Slight highlights on it, I think due to the flash. Thanks for sharing.

The flash has made parts of the highlights a bit hot. The Dorsal stripe at the centre looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

Always hard to photograph frogs with flash. The highlights get blown very often, even with multiple diffusing layers on a low flash output. The best bet is setting up the external flash off the usual axis, or using the inbuilt flash with another off-camera slave flash.
