ID: Oleander hawk moth caterpillar and Pagoda ants?
Came across this sight while traversing the Nagla trail. Not sure if this goliath was executed by these tiny ants or were they scavenging on an unfortunate death. These ants seemed to be very aggressive and the moment they realize me getting closer to it, few of them came off onto neighbouring leaves and acted as if ready to attack me
EXIF:
Canon 550D
Canon 100mm macro
F/10
Shutterspeed 1/125
ISO 800
Handheld, External flash fired
Location: Nagla trail
