ID: Carpenter bee moth caterpillar
Spotted this large green beauty feeding on a plant along the trail, but the moment it realized my presence it compressed its frontal end to pose as if it was praying. Initially I thought it to be some form of hawk moth caterpillar but was later delighted to know that it was caterpillar of a Carpenter bee moth, something that was initially found in this particular trail
EXIF:
Canon 550D
Canon 100mm macro
F/18
shutterspeed 1/125
ISO 800
handheld, External flash fired
Location: Nagla trail
