This large male made himself scarce in a mildly alarmed mode once he became aware that we had spotted him . Nikon 7100+150-600mm 1/640s FL220mm ISO400 Tadoba late morning Oct2016.

Still is in summer coat, the stag has notable brow tines and good antlers (in velvet in Oct). Nice take to show the change with season. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Moving to get some peace and quiet :). Nice antlers. Zooming out just a bit more to have some more space on the top would have been nice. How were the sightings in Tadoba this time? Thanks for sharing.

Those are the strangest antlers that I have ever seen on a Sambar stag.
