Ibis Bill, rarely sighted, is a migratory bird observed in and around Corbett Tiger Reserve, in Koshi and Ramganga river where the water flows slowly through the rocky pebbles. This is the picture that was judged for 2nd position in Birds Festival Photography competition in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, was shot by me.

Nikon D4s, Nikon 600 F4, Shot @ 600 F9, ISO 500, 1/640s

Good to know that you have got a prize. It seems you have uploaded an image larger than 600 kb. Your image seems to be automatically crunched by the forum software to 913x550 pixels and 403 kb. What was the original image size that you uploaded? May be you can try reuploading a lower size image.

Dear Sabyasachi, you have caught the root cause. Microsoft Photo gallery is unable to resize the images below 450 KB. Hence the details are lost.

I have increased the image limits and upto 600kb images can be uploaded. Hope it helps.

Congratulations for the award and Lovely image Debasis Da.. Spotted a flock of this bird last year in Manas. But didn't manage a shot. Look forward for more from Cobett.
