While having breakfast at Malani FRH, observed this beauty. Every morning and evening use to hear the call and sight them but due to low light and agile nature never could capture with the lens. But that day caught him @ 9.30 am sitting on the tree in front of the rest house. Generally, these birds are active well after dusk and during the breeding season (April to August) they tend to sing during the darkness of dawn and dusk when few other birds are calling.

Nice you got it in the clear. Liked the composition. Wish there was some light on the eye, that would enhanced the image further (always wanting more :)). Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Great to see this bird. If its head would have been in light, then it would have been very good. Malani is a lovely guest house. Is the solar fencing still there? I had great experiences when the solar fencing was not there and it was open. Thanks for sharing.
