This is from last weekends Bandipur trip. Gallus sonneratii.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, ISO 400, f4, 1/400, full frame image.

I was forced to handhold my camera as this fellow was on the left and I was behind the wheel. Infact, I was forced to do a lot of handholding.

Look forward to your comments.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

PS: Correction: Thanks to Aditya and Laxminarayanan, This is female grey jungle fowl.

This is a female grey jungle fowl, not a spur fowl. The composition works for me.

Cheers,
Aditya

the sharpness is amazing given u were handholding a monster... The composition works for me... the plant in the left balances the image... :)

Nice image. Sharp. The low angle is good. I would have preffered more space on the right, because of the plant on the left the frame looks a bit tight for me.

little more space on right than left would have strengthened the composition...,sharp image !

Could this be a Sub adult male?
