I am posting a picture I took in October 2015, the last time I went to a national park in India-Tadoba. We had almost missed the monitor when the jeep driver suddenly spotted in between the tree trunk. I quite liked the way in which it had 'parked' itself safe away from the eyes of the predators lurking around. I am not sure if I have posted this earlier, excuse if posted earlier.

It is so nicely camouflaged, making it difficult to spot. The diagonal framing looks nice. I don't think you had posted this earlier :). Thanks for sharing.

Nicely camouflaged in attack mode, may be waiting for birds or reptiles. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

This might be its regular place else sighting it would be very tough. This is also one of the reasons why large hard growth trees are so important as it creates its own micro-habitat for various species. Thanks for sharing.
