I have started exploring some remote places in Eastern Himalaya, from West Bengal to Arunachal..to understand people, to understand village life...to see wilderness..to understand the relationship between people and wildlife..

You can read some of my articles on this topic in Natural history and wilderness update section in this forum...

This shy and secretive bird was photographed in end of January in Batasia forest village (2300 mtr) under Tonglu range, Darjeeling Division....near Singalila NP. I'll share my experiences soon in Natural History section...

Rhododendron has started blooming there...wish to be there in another forest village in April...
