This is from my last weekend bandipur trip.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, ISO 400, f3.2, 1/160, full frame image.

Nice action captured. Rarely seen this behaviour. The raised foot is interesting. It looks like a salt lick. Was it trying to dig for that?

This is a female, so this action suggest that how she dig without tusks. Nice shot!

Nice action. The composition looks fine. wonder how you got the whole body even at f 3.2 and that too w/o your TC attached.

It is easier to get more depth of field with a shorter lens. The depth of field would have considerably reduced after attaching a TC. The camera was stable on a beanbag and hence the sharpness is there. I will post another image from the series and you can compare.
