22/03/17 was a great day for me at Nagarhole spotted 7big cats in 2 safari,this click from morning safari ,the male cub tiger was in the pond and same time a spotted deer was crossing nearby...Canon 600D, tamron 150-600mm 1/320, f5.6, ISO 100,on 191mm hand held.....

Nice you got both of them in the same frame. Even while drinking water, the tiger is still closely watching the movement of the deer. There seem to be some loss of details. Was there a movement? Maybe using a higher shutter speed would have helped. The lighting was a bit difficult. Thanks for sharing.

The deer knows that there is no problem from the tiger. Herbivores prefer to know the exact location of the tiger. The focal plane is close to the tiger and the deer is obviously not in focus. The deer is also against the light. So there is less of details in the deer. Thanks for sharing. Cheers,Sabyasachi
