RIP T-222 (Prince of Bandipur)

Really sad news for wild life lovers that we lost the big male tiger..People called him Prince of Bandipur.Around 11,12 years old...Few days back found his dead body little away from safari zone..I got many chances to see him,he came very near to me several times,really a fearless tiger, this click was from few months back also it was my last sighting of the great tiger...The wild life lovers and the Bandipur visitors will miss him for sure...

Its really sad to hear this. I read in the newspaper a few days back, that nearly 12 tigers have died in Bandipur due to water shortage. It is a sad situation :(.

Bandipur forest staff have arrested Soma and Bomma of Chelavarayanapura, , near Bandipur. Three canines of tiger (Prince) have been recovered. They will produced in the magistrate court...............
