ID: Assassins bug(correct in case of wrong id)

A beautiful example of false camouflaging, so perfect that it almost fooled us, until it, momentarily, moved. It seemed to have been carrying the dead insects and thrash on its body with just the eyes and the legs popping out of the dead stuffs. Though it was very steady initially, it became highly active and kept a safe distance from us and the lens.

Yes looks like an Assassins bug, more due to its behavior of carrying the dead bodies of its victims on its back. That has camouflaged it very well. It has some spider web on them also :confused1:. Some noise in the background. Is it a crop? I feel a more rectangular framing would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

Its slightly cropped, reduced the frame by 17%, unfortunately the full frame itself had less space in the front, due to the movement of the bug.
Noise was due to pushing of the ISO to 1600, I wanted a better exposed image, so had to push the ISO out of the comfort zone :(
