Observed this langur debarking a tree in Bandipur Tiger Reserve on Aug 31st.
It pulled a part of the bark with its teeth and then walked a few paces and chewed it.

I liked last image, which resembles behavior of humans. Men in countryside sit like this on roadside area like bus stops.
I don't think this is common behavior/activity of langurs :rolleyes:

Check this out ,shot in Nagarhole ( Kabini ) a few years ago.I thought he was eating termites - what is your take on it ?
