The flora and the Landscape

A typical sight along the trail, this particular patch had a huge area covered with the Konkan Pinda flower's plant. The sloping area was glowing vibrantly with the fresh greenery, along with the garnish of contrasting white flowers and dark, dried plants. But the play of clouds over the mountains was what drew me to capture this frame.

The heavy winds and the delicate flowers were making the framing too difficult, but had to rely on really huge shutterspeed to freeze the flower in frame

Lovely flowers. The high shutter speed has helped. I feel a more rectangular framing looks better for a landscape than the present square one. Maybe you could have tried a vertical composition also. Thanks for sharing.

The frame is rectangular, 16:10 format. I didnt attempt vertical frames, but now, that you mentioned, I think it would have been even more interesting
