Peeping out _ Deccan Banded Gecko

Dear Friends,

This little fellow is from Matheran & posed for many shots in open. Towards the end of shoot, moved inside tree trunk & peeped for one last shot. Many people , including my wife are scared of these creatures. But, as they say beauty lies in eyes of beholder & I find these beautiful.

EXIF : Canon 550D, Tamron 90mm VC, ISO 1600, f/22, Tv/60, Internal Flash with diffuser, Hand held, Full Frame , PP in LR5.

Nice perspective. Why ISO 1600? If you're using a flash without any ambient light, you can use a slow shutter at a low ISO without worrying about shake. I presume you set it to 1600 for non-flash photos and then forgot to lower it. :) Also, did you try with wider aperture values too?
