Nilgiri Tahr and Neelakurinji!

The Neelakurinji days are round the corner (2018)!The once in 12 year spectacle last occurred in 2006.This male Nilgiri Tahr seem to take a secret peek at the flowers!

I couldn't retrieve the complete exif details...Camera:Nikon FM2 and Nikkor 300mm Lens.

I liked the composition of the Tahr looking over the edge. There is some noise in the background. Hope you would be able to capture the flowers in bloom too :). Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for reminding about the Neelakurinji flowers. Mostly the flowers bloom together. However, I had seen one solitary flower bloom in 2010 near a shola forest close to Munnar. Haven't been there since ages.
