This little one sat silently as a herd of Gaur stampeded around her.She moved up the hill only once they had dispersed slowly munching their way down. This was my second leopard sighting in Satpura. Nikon 750+70-200 ISO 400 F/3.2 1/1000s April 2017 early morning.

Looks like a very young leopardess. Good you could photograph it turning back and looking towards you. Liked the long whiskers :). Nicely camouflaged with the dry surroundings. Did you try a narrower aperture? Thanks for sharing.

Nice. I think this is an adult leopard. Krishnan has on a few occasions talked about wide variation in size of leopards. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Nice to see this fellow. Leopards can slink away unnoticed even in very less vegetation cover. This fellow is maintaining a low profile. The body size of leopard can very a lot. So in earlier days, hunters used to think that there are different species of leopards like the ones who stay close to the village and the ones staying deep in the forest. Thanks for sharing.
