The couple was on the way to their mating when I discovered them. These leaf weevils are shy enough to any foreign objects. I did manage to get a couple of shots and suddenly they went underneath the host leaf. So, I don't disturb their secrecy.

Hello viewers. I just find the image with some unpleasant green colors while open this site from my smartphone. It looks just as I want in my laptop. Please mention in that case of unpleasant green tones.

In my smartphone it looks very bright. Most of the screens are not colour calibrated. So the viewing experience varies.

Nice find. How did you notice them? Since you were using 40mm, how close were you to the subject?

Thank you Sabyasachi da for your words.

This is a very common weevil species in our locality. They are really very shy and to get too close to them is really challenging. They react to an approaching foreign object by moving to the opposite direction of the current twigs or leaves. When one goes pertinacious they just use to grip off the host and fall down. Sometimes they just pretend to be a corpse to avoid threat.
