Imposing personality. Nice framing. Previously we learnt from Corbett that Himalayan Black Bear could challenge a Tiger; a few years back a Sloth Bear of RTR drove away aTiger-couple for safety and security of her two little cubs. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Great you could sight it in open and that too it was coming towards you. The claws look dangerous and as Saktida has said can cause lot of damage. The vertical composition works well here. How long was the sighting? Thanks for sharing.

Nice one. Great to see this one in front of you in the clear. Do you have more space on top? I would have loved some vegetation in focus along with the solitary branch that is now visible and in focus at the top. Due to the long nose of the sloth bear, one needs to use a narrow aperture.

The way the sloth bears walk, at times people can get confused that those are human footprints. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
