Nikon 750+70-200 FL 78 mm ISO 500, 1/500s F/4 .This single tusker , who is visibly in masth gave us a few bad moments by charging our vehicle and not allowing us to pass for a considerable time. Kabini august 2017 late evening.

The tusker having long, sharp-pointed, curved murderous tusks could not help itself from losing one tusk possibly in intraspecific combat (or accidentally)! Nature rules supreme with shredded mystery in the jungle. Lovely image. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Nice sighting. Seems like a young Tusker. As Saktida has mentioned it seems he has lost the other tusk in fight. Liked the display of the surroundings. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Slightly more contrast would have been better. Losing one tusk in battle would be painful. Some more depth of field would have been even better. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
