This image is from my recent Bandipur visit. It was very close to the vehicle.
Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, ISO 400, f8, 1/125th of second, full frame image.
Look forward to your comments and critiques.
Cheers,

Nice to have tongue out of mouth. Scales are sharp.
Any close-up of head? What was its length (head to tail)? 5-6 ft ?

The body is sharp overall. wish you had more shutter speed to freeze the tongue.

Sharp image. You could have kept a little bit more space on the right. Would it have helped if you had reduced the aperture and taken the body only till the legs and got a bit more of shutter speed to get the tongue in focus?

Nice shot, but wish the tongue was frozen. Also agree about the space in front of it.
Any idea abt the species? Common monitor?
