Another view of the Leopard - this time a vertical with a 100-400 II IS @ about 150 mm focal length.

Kabini - Zone A, around 8:30 AM. Cloudy day with low light

5D Mark III, Canon EF 100-400 IS II, F4.5 1/30, ISO 200 Hand held

There is a typo. The ISO is 2000 & not 200 as posted in the earlier one

This vertical composition adds greater environmental interest to the subject. The tall trees instead of blocking the subject gives an impression of dense thick forests. Nice image .Thanks for sharing.

Nice sighting. The tree in the front is not in the plane of focus as the tree in the far right is in focus. The out of focus tree being a bit close to the leopard takes away the attention. Wish you had sighted the scene in good light so that you could have used a narrow aperture for deeper depth of field. With bumper to bumper traffic in Kabini it is not easy to ask the driver to move the vehicle for a better angle. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

The vertical composition works well here with the tall trees. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.
