Palla's Gull

Palla's Gull is also called as Great Black-headed Gull which breeds in colonies in marshes and islands from southern Russia to Mongolia. In each year it is landed in the Damodar River of Burdwan, West Bengal during winter. I have spotted 7 in this year.

Wow, a beautiful take off pose. The whites are blown - must have been a harsh light, can be recovered in PP. Maybe a slightly lower aperture would help with a higher Shutter speed and more details.

Nice wingspread and the shadow of the right wing on the left wing gives a warm feel to the picture. Slightly more room on top will further enhance this already lovely composition.

Loved the eye contact, nice and straight horizon and the details.

The white in the wings got burnt. Even though you can use the slider to recover highlights, but the overexposed details once lost won't be there again. That is the problem of digital cameras vis-a-vis film.
I am not sure how much of a crop is this. Looks like you haven't shot at the full focal length available and then cropped a lot in post followed by sharpening. Lower saturation would be good.
