Steppe Eagles are adversely affected by veterinary use of diclofenac and may fall prey to it. Steppe eagles are opportunistic scavengers, which may expose them to the risk of diclofenac poisoning. IUCN has categorized it as endangered species.
Jorbeer is one of best places in India to see this majestic raptor during winter.

Wow, brilliant composition and nice image. In a situation like this when the breeze is up and is ruffling the feathers, a high shutter speed helps with more details. While the details on this photo is lovely, a lower aperture (say 5.6) will help with even higher shutter speed which will help with even more details. Your other option here is to leave the aperture at 8, but bump up the ISO to around 800 (the 7D II handles 800 ISO with ease).

As i said earlier, lovely composition, great details, lovely eye contact, and a clean background.

Thanks for sharing

Nice image. I like the ruffled feathers. Wonder why you used ISO 250? for large cropping? This seems to be a favourite perch. How many days were you there? Thanks for sharing.
