ID: Halictidae
Was trying my best to capture this beauty while it was busy hovering from one flower to the other, wanted to frame it while in action, but all of a sudden it vanished from the sight. For a moment I thought it flew off to a different area, probably fed up by my stalking, but later noticed that it had taken refuge on a blade of a grass few feet from the area it was flying around, probably taking some time off. On close observation I could see its hind leg area filled with pollens and for a long time it didnt even notice me, even though I was few cms away with the raynox equiped lens, eventually it flew off, may be I was too close for its comfort, and got back to the same flowers but later flew off far away.
EXIF:
Canon 550D
Canon 100mm macro + Raynox DCR 250
F/18
Shutterspeed 1/125
ISO 800
Handheld, External flash fired
Location: Shilonda trail
