This is a lovely image of the village with its amazing monasteries and the magnificent Himalayas in the background, Dr.Katre. I have a special place for Spiti and Lahaul valley in my heart, its one of the first mountainous terrains that I explored with my initial salaries many years back when I started my professional career :). Village homes/monasteries and their perfect blend with the great Himalaya are dream destinations for most, you have captured the feel very well in this image. Its been almost 22 years and this picture now entices me to revisit the valley, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Murugan for your appreciation. Yes, Spiti Valley is really a dream destination. It was one of the best trips I have ever done. I too have some fond memories of Spiti Valley.
