Nice to see them both in the open. Seems something interesting has caught their attention :). You were already using ISO 500, but I feel a slight narrower aperture would have helped to get more details. How long was the trip in Gir? Thanks for sharing.

The depth of field was shallow. I am not sure but the focus appears to be locked slightly ahead. The road looks incredibly dusty and giving a feel of summer. The images also come soft when there is lot of dust in the air. Thanks for sharing.
