We tracked a spate of Langur calls in the distance and just saw this female dash across the road into a rocky undergrowth beyond. We arrived at the spot where the leopard had disappeared and peered into the thicket trying to see if she was still hanging around . Unbelievably she came back and sat on the rock and looked quizzically into my lens as if to say "is this what you want". As usual the naturalist and driver called out to other vehicles and this made her leave as quietly as she had appeared . Nikon 750+70-200 ISO800,1/200s F/6.3.Feb 2018 evening.

Lovely eye contact. I love the eyes. Great that you could get her face relatively in the open. Where was this photographed, Kabini? Thanks for sharing.

Great to sight a leopard. Good that you got the face more or less clear. Focus seems to be slightly ahead of the leopard. These days with drivers calling others, the sightings become a crowded affair and it loses the pleasure of being with a charismatic charnivore. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
