In this trip I used a lot of *AE lock technique , reason being that during full day safaris the light is very harsh during peak afternoon.
Hence I always used to take reference of the brightest spot and used to lock the aperture and exposure ; as a result this always used to give me very high shutter speed and hence dark area always gets under exposed.
Here is the best example of this.
Even after a harsh light the image comes out the way I want it.
AE-lock can also be very useful in difficult lighting situations.

Canon EOS 7D M II , Canon 70-200mm f/4 IS L USM , @200mm , 1/2000 , f/4 , ISO-800 , Hand held , -1/3 step , *AE lock.

Great details. I sometime think we will never get such details of a Sundarban tiger, possibly an occasional maneater ! Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Nice portrait. The vertical composition looks good. Agree with Saktida, getting a similar sighting in Sunderbans would be amazing. Been to Sunderbans atleast 4 times, but still no tiger luck :(. Hope to sight one next time :). Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.
