Stretching out to quench it

Came across several of these beauties along the trail, during the initial stage of monsoon, while this one seemed to be scouring through several plants, eventually stopping by on this plant and stretching itself all the way to, what seemed like drinking off the monsoon water that was stuck on the core of the leaf. It stayed steady for quiet a long time to drink off ample fluid and continued scouring through other plants

Nice you could observe and capture this simple behavior, which we normally do not observe. Wish you could have included the tip of the stretched rear leg on the left. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting. I agree with Mrudul that more space at left and less at right would have been better. Apart from the tip of leg being cut off, now the subject's head is centrally placed. Thanks for sharing.
