Shot this again at Kabini, misty morning i should have increased the ISO to 800. I was in hurry to shot since they seemed a little edge and i thought they would fly.

Cute image... I would have decreased the background highlights in PP and used a +0.33 or more EV compensation during shooting...

Nice scene. Agree with Bibhav's tips. But why increase the ISO? Increase in Ev comp was needed here.
Got any other compositions? Eager for more from this series if you have...:)

Great you got seven beeeater's in one image. It would have been great to have them perched at a lower angle. When shooting against the sky it is good to increase the Ev composition as suggested by Bibhav and Abhishek.
Do post if you have any other images in this series.

Bibhav and Mrudul - by Ev did you mean aperture or something else, as metnioned i am beginer so if you could explain me in layman's language it will help me understand.
These birds were perched very high on dead tree branch, light was low and also we were quite far.

there is a button called Ev. Keep it pressed and use the dial near the shutter button to change the Ev value. it helps when you have a bright background thereby reducing the chance for silhouetting. It helps in exposing the subject properly...
