ID: Gall midges?(ID confirmation appreciated)
One of the most common sight I encounter at my native place, almost from my childhood days, these midges seem to take refuge on the strand of silk, unsure if its a web casted by a spider or these beauties build it. Mostly spotted in the backyard gardens or between the coconut/areca nut trees, these beauties spend most of the time suspended on the silk strands and traversing through the length of it, unsure about the reason for this behaviour. With the breeze flowing in, they seem to swing around, seemingly enjoying it like the toddlers.
